Another one of those annoying readless hands.

Flop i figure the donk lead for second pair or maybe a draw. The turn brings an Ace which could easily hit a FD. So i flat to control the pot. River i felt i was best just flating as i struggled to see worse calling a re-raise.

The thing i like most about the way you played the hand is that you had a reason for every action you took. At no point did you do you something without some sort of awareness of where you were in the hand. Also you never used the phrase  " i might get lucky".

The main thing when playing any hand is to have a good reason behind every decision you make whether it is a bet ,call or fold. This wont mean you will make every decision correct but it does improve your chances.

I think you played it splendid donald, no joke fine and good pot control at the end when its clearly that your probably beat but cheap enough

Played as is is perfect IMO.  I cant tell you how much I hate this trend on SKy to bet 10% of pot over streets, or min bet into a huge pot, especially when you know THEY WONT FOLD to a gutsy raise.

You have played it well, nice pot control on turn and river. Villain's bets look weak so i doubt they have an ace, probably J9 or similar. Did you win the hand?

The guy had A9 in the end so i got all the money in bar 180 good so no complaints here. Just curious to how anyone else could have played it.

Perfect, once ace comes any raise you make will only be a bluff and if he can call the flop with 2nd pair Ace kicker then can't see him folding any ace afterwards.
