In Response to Re: The Sunday Night Primo with Rich and Tikay ***official show thread*** : Oh, marbles. (some say Tikay lost his ages ago!) ) I went to a Welsh school* (dont tell Dylan!) and the few English lads (about 20 of us in a school of 200 plus) were the 'marbles mafia' . We controlled all the games in and out of school hours and basically ran the unofficial money for marbles racket and made a fortune! I doubt we would get away with that kind of thing nowadays. *I was only at this school for 3 years and left just before doing my 11+. Also, with the teachers consent would you believe , there would be an England v Wales 'play' scrap every St.Davids Day (I still have the bruises!!) Great week of Minis this week and I really hope they continue and get the same support as they have had this week!! Just to make Tikay smile.... I cashed in Friday's TOT rebuy tourney in 4th/36. I did not take a rebuy or an add on though ) Posted by MAXALLY
lol they must of been marble mafias everywhere, been in a few situations over marbles back in the day myself. steelys were the best. bang 3 in ya sock and do them in S C U M style lol
I confess to getting a Stylophone (gulp) but only because I wanted to learn to play Space Oddity by David Bowie on it, he gave it a bit of street cred :-)
after school i used to work in a petrol station that gave away green shield stamps in huge numbers. the ones that weren't wanted we, as forecourt attendants, were allowed to keep. i recall playing poker for green shield stamps with my friend and colleague who raised 10,000 green shield stamps. my response was, "is that stuck in or not?"
I think Jaynes answer of "on the button is technically correct." If it was a three handed table then the person straight after the big blind would be on the button! You didnt specify how many people were on the table
Funniest show ever - somehow it reminds me of my work....
Best gadget game I had was Totopoly where it was lots of iron horses on a piece of material that then vibrated and the horses raced along the material - it came with a tote and was probably very innapropriate for children - but best present ever.

Allegedly some of the stars of the aforementioned VHS videos were coming off choppers all the time!!!!
Half the days printed on the outside, half printed on the inside.
