Admirable traits in a pro.

I was just wondering which pro's people associate their approach with?  Who they would aspire to play as well as?

I'd say I'm a mix up between Greenstein/Ferguson/Townsend.  Admittidly with Hellmuths poor interpersonal skills :)

Can we leave phil Ivey out of it though?  He's not all that...... :p

Think i love brian townsends style of play, he epitomises tight/aggro play and how to play position against that specific opponent!

    +1,

I also have been a massive admirer of YoYo's for a few years as I can relate totally to my chipstack going up and down! But Julian to me has everything a true pro should have, talent, patience, tenacity, humility, aggression and obv an occasional luckbox:-). I was absolutely over the moon when he won Baden, he's well overdue another biggie. He is also humble, a true gentleman, gets it in quietly and also has time for all those who wander up to him to have a word, there are a few more like that I can think of but sadly they seem to be becoming a rare breed in the post Moneymaker on line age.

One of Englands finest and an inspiration to me, always.

Yeah was really excited watching galfond in the 10 ME, chip leader and 1st player to cross 2M i think.  Was really hoping it would really break him through.  He played great....then kind of didnt :p

Yeah am also big fan of Townsend, very Zen.  Agree that he very much monoplises position.
