I haz KK, do I still have to call pre?

It's not often I post hands but this one is bugging me because as I went to click call I really thought the oppo had AA(a five bet shove). Had been limp calling pre a lot and not really betting without a hand. But I haz kings and should I really be folding them pre, especially when I'm likely to get shoved on by AK,QQ and JJ(and even worse that).
Appreciate some thoughts on it.

I cant fold Kings pre, sometimes i have had it spot on they have Aces but still call. Like you say if he stacks of with AK, QQ alone its an auto call really

Also need to add that I've a very LAG image and when I say I'm likely to get shoved on by Ak,qq or worse,it's at this level, not the player.

I've folded K's pre twice in 6 years, playing around 60hrs a week for the last 3 years.

Ahead or behind, its just very difficult to do and only really possible with alot of player knowledge and multiple layers of betting.

But at NL4, I'd take a pretty good bet that if you folded there, you'd be the first person to EVER fold K's pre at that level :p

    snap call

The only way I am folding in that spot is in a big MTT and I am very very deeply stacked like 40+BB, i can fold as i know he got AA.
or like on the bubble where the diff is zero or thousands.

Folding KK anything near 15-30 BB is a NO NO IMO

I have folded kk pre twice before over a long period of time. I think you can only do it, if either it is a tourny and maybe a massive move up the pay scale, and or you are super deep in cash AND have a very good read on your opponent.

The thing is your situation above he played the aces quite aggressively (and potentially could have lost a lot of value), so it is not obivous, and also if you have a LAGy image more people are going to make moves against you with lesser hands.

All that said getting into the meta game of thinking the guy has aces at N4 is pretty pointless to be honest. All you have to do is value bet well at that level as people are shoving with range from small pocket/qj. So just rebuy and likely next time someone shoves of your more than often your kk you will be head.

Folding Kings pre in a cash game less than 100BB deep is burning money.
