hey guys, interested in reading some poker books that will help me improve my game instead of autobiographies, if anyone can recommend a good read it would be much appreciated.
My favourites have always been Brunsons super system 1 and 2 for education. Hansens every hand revealed (aussie Millions) for true at the table feel and entertainment. Its just a very well written book.
As others will likely tell you there are very indepth threads on this topic in here somewhere

Thanks, is Brunsons out dated though because isn't it writting in the 70's?
I googled it and apparently Dan Harrington books are rated highly, if anyone has read it?
Yes Action Dan is also great. Within each books, theres chapters written by different pros that doyle and action Dan respect, so your getting broad input over different forms of Poker.
OM fricking G Doyle Brunson dated???? Watch any event any watch DB take the internet generation to school
The major re think on poker (IMO) is as a result of Negranues small ball philosophy. Its kind of taken on a life of its own now, evolving beyond its intention. Its why we see the deep stack best sizing we now see. Combining with the 20 something Millions of online hands played it is the new proffessional standard, mostly.
i like brunson his a awesome player, who has kept up with the 'kids' unlike other pro's, what i meant is that his books are from the 70's and the game back then was different etc..
Well for one table yournaments, Colin Moshman's - SNG Strategy is pretty much the only book out there. For cash The Poker Blueprint - Davis & Nguyen is easily the best cash book out there.

DB approach is both game defining and beyond being outdated. If you read the book you'll maybe understand better. Blasphemy to suggest otherwise.
