Hi played this hand, and as it turned out i won, but i really unsure about his call on the flop and re-raise on the turn.

I also had no read on the player.
 i
I play a very similar hand with the the guy calling my re-raise and re-raising me on the turn. In that situation i called and found out he spiked two pair and i lost.

I actually think maybe given the way the hand was played, most of the time i would be beat..

What do you guys think. Should i have actually folded??

Not a massive fan of 3-betting ace/queen when out of position unless I feel there's a good chance the villain will fold.

I'd then bet more on the flop to try and take the hand down there and then and i'd certainly bet more on the turn.

i was at the table and i told u after the hand what my impressions on the player were, can u remember?.

if the player is going to call a 3bet with a8 im going to 3 bet AQ all day vs him

when he reraises turn it looks scary but u have tp tkiker in a 3bet pot  and history of him in a 3bet pot with non premium? (spiking 2 pair) if he has u beat i pay him off cause at these stakes and espec at this time in morning at weekend u will be ahead most of the time

I had no read on the player so i didnt know if he was slowplaying aces. Think to be honest got a little nervous and overthought the hand.. I should have bet more i think on the turn.

I think weedgi right though a the time i was playing there was a lot of preflop calling going on... so chances are i was up against a weaker hand.. lol

Wow this hand has played out so weird!
    Raise more pre!
That £2 bet makes no sense, it's going to induce so many bluffs and you're going to get taken off the hand so often if you have no reads on an opponent, and you for some reason, think they are slow playing AA?????
You've probably got max value from the hand looking at the cards, but that is deffo -EV play, losing value from MOST hands!
