It's not the people posting for advice. It's the people reading the advice given and getting into that persons thought processes.
And in any case some of the posters are reg 50nl and 100nl players who do play with the above mentioned players and even if they don’t at the moment they may well will be in the near future.
The problem (if you can call it that) with the poker clinic on here is that your forum alias is the same as your poker screen name on the client (I'm not suggesting this should change). You mentioned that many players post on other forums, this is true but:
1. Usually these sites don’t have a dedicated poker client and as such posters play on various different poker sites.
2. Often they post under different alias's as their poker screen names.
3. The level of analysis and discussion is far higher and as such there is a lot everyone give and take in terms of discussion.
Don't get me wrong I’m not criticising the people that do post. It is quite generous of them to give so much information away for free. I’m just giving you an insight into why certain people choose not to post.

The point you make is a very fair one, but how would the likes of Wayne, Reds, Dan, James - or indeed the likes of you and Ashley - feel about commenting on how you believe hands from NL4 and smaller MTTs should be played? Missing the point? Bear with me...
If you're playing on a table against that line up above, your thought processes are a couple of levels higher, right? You're thinking about the metagame between you all, you're floating/betting thin/etc a lot more - all of this differs according to the villains in the hand, who at your levels are more reg and more aggro.
That background paints a very different picture to a normal NL4 game, which I am sure you appreciate. The scenario for many of the micro players is that they're playing with less reads, less metagame, and possibly at a lower levels on the whole. Could the guys from the upper levels not say "well in this spot I would generally think A is better than B because" and then use some sound fundamentals?
Sometimes it's not insight that you use in your own games folks are after but a reiteration of good fundamentals from players many of the site respect and look up to.
I thought they didn't post because it would be a waste of their time, but if they read it anyway, they're already wasting their time so they might as well post.

browndog post is spot on. If I was playing 100NL here no way would I post hands with regs up and give my reads or thought processes out. Theres a hand on the clinic by offshoot at 300NL 200bb deep which is impossible to give a meaningful answer readless, but there is no way he posts his reads here. Higher stakes players also give far more than they gain from posting here

At the risk of sounding like an idiot in replying to all of this after reading.
I thnk posting in the clinic can be an effect i know one player (not sure if they still play here now) who openly admitted reading the clinic to have a rough read on my before i even sat down on the table as them. Now after this i still posted on the clinic, i was just more selective about what i posted and why.
I think by talking about different desisions even in a poker room has its benifits. I post probably just as frequently in the clinic now, but the situations i post are ones where ive got two or more options that im not sure which is best. Therefore im unsure myself, so no one can pick up a read.
I think Offshoot posted a couple of hands recently and thats had the clinic buzzing. Everyone had an opinion. But unlike when you guys post on our hands, we have to give info/reads, everyone knows at least something about at least one of the opponents in hthe other hand. This makes the replies interesting.
