Hand 1) 375407018

Very tricky this one, the villain hadn't really played a hand vs me or any that went to showdown and i had no reads what would you do here?

Surely its shove or fold right?

I wasn't really sure whether i should be re-raising this pre? also when the villain bet i dont really put him on much as he had been very active and loose but choose to not to get involved

    hand 4)

I thought the limp was pretty weak, i didn't think he'd limp with a very strong hand. on the face of it not bad as we were flipping but should i be waiting for a better spot? 4/4 at time so i was the one who had more to gain etc

    1) i would fold, its hard to tell what he has, as you've raised it up and then his lead out with a pot size bet, if he was tight then he must had something.

    2) i'd re-raise to see what he does. again its hard to tell if he has ne strength cos his just limped pre flop shud of raised pre flop to see if he had strength

3)Tricky one, i would shove pre tho.. his raised 3xbb so he might have a pair, and is not worried about flop(no high cards) so shoves to win it all. plus he has alot of chips so can bully.

    4) I wouldnt of shoved originally, you still have time to look for a better spot to double up. the fact he has called for 200 chips means he must have something, if he want to just steal some chips he would of raised.

hope some of this helps. again my opinion and i could be totally wrong :D

    It's been a while but....

    Shove hand 1.

Check pre, c/f flop hand 2.

    I'm shoving hand three.

Hmmmm don't hate hand 4, can prob find a better spot tho. I used to play em quite aggressively and had good success so a jam aint too bad I dnt think.

    yo YG,

IMO there certainly aren't any massive mistakes here, most of it looks fine,

tbh i cba 2 waste my time arguin for days on another DYM thread! plus there are a couple names here i play against on a regular basis so i obv dnt wanna b discussin reads on them incase they see this!

however if u want my opinion i'm more than happy 2 discuss over PM, or feel free to add me on MSN, dohhhhhhh has my details, or i can PM u them

    Hand 1)  Shove 'em
Hand 2)  As played fold on the flop, personally I like a raise pre but checking is fine as long as you can fold on these flops without damage
Hand 3)  At this blind level in a DYM we are not flatting raises.  Shove 'em pre.
Hand 4)  Fine as long as you make note what he's limping with.

hand 1) i'd usually fold this when i play DYM's, but depending on opponents skill levels i'd maybe shove, dunno if he's stacking here with JQ J10, i like the fold though
hand 2) i'd raise pre, isolate the original limper and fire out a C-bet, as played i like the fold
hand 3) deffo a shove, if i'm right there is still 6 players left, so not close to bubble etc and only have about 20BB.
hand 4) shove is fine, as is folding

    Hi YG.

Hand 1: For me this is a definate shove. Once I go for a button steal with a TPGK type hand (which I really like btw), then once I hit I go all the way. It takes a serious read to make me do otherwise.

Hand 2: I haven't played this villain for a while, but once he limps I'm happy to check the 9s in the BB. Actually, I'm happy to check them vs a lot of opponents but also happy to raise 5x (250) vs some loose passive weaker players. On that flop, I can't go away to a 1/2pot bet for that many chips. I would at least call that street and expect the villain to slow down a large percentage of the time. If he 1/2 pots or more the turn, then I can safely give up here.

Hand 3: This is a fairly clear shove, I'm afraid. These spots are, really, your DYM bread and butter.

Hand 4: Definately opponent specific, but I love the shove if you have a read that the limper is weak and is unlikely to call. As it is, he's butchered the hand and you got pretty unlucky.

    Havn't read replies:

    1.  Shove     -    It could be a setup but I think its one of them spots you have no choice and to go broke if he has AJ or better, but your ahead of his donk range and worse Jacks and draws calll most of the time after donking that bet, still you have a little fold equity which is good.

    2. Check pre   -   Its a DYM so no need to be awesome with the nines in this spot.

    3. Auto shove for me   -   you said he was active and you have loads of FE

    4. Fold  -   Don't like a push here, fish love to limp/stack off from btn. Its very dependant on reads of btn if I have none or little reads or unsure I fold.

Many thanks for all your replies and ty shanx i will speak to JJ be good to talk i can understand some people not wanting to discuss reads or in more detail on here.

    1) I did shove, he folded i just thought it would be interesting. Basically because we were pretty much readless i figured i'll be ahead of his range and im happy to take the pot down, afterwards the villain did say you have QQ/KK/AA? so maybe i got him to fold another jack who knows

    2) i dont mind how i played it but i was 50/50 on whether to raise it up but thought its a bit dangerous

3)Shove defo best i think i wussie'd out on this one i said perfect shoving spot but bottled it and instead called which is probably worse then folding

    4) Either way really fold or shove just make a note :)

    Again thanks all
