unread to 4 bet JJ

when holding JJ is it a good idea to 4 bet it at any level or to assess after seeing the flop.

    Someone once gave me some good advice about 4 betting in spots like this (I think it was scotty77 but it was a while ago now). Only 4 bet if you're happy to get it all in pre. 

    As to whether or not it's the right thing to do here then I really think that's very player dependant. Does he only ever 3 bet with AA/KK/QQ/AK or is he likely to do it with worse than JJ?

    If it was me then I'm more inclined to flat pre with a view to shipping it in on a flop that doesn't contain an overcard. You've also got to remember that you're going to be playing out of position post flop too.

    As he's playing £2 I'm snap shoving here, if he had a full buyin behind I might just call and hope for a low flop but if he's an aggro maniac with 100bb's doing it then of course shove.
