The master cash tables are now a 200BB limit. However if you're saying that people can but in for 200BB's at a table that you can only by in at 100BB, that's not right surely?

it was not only master cash, it was aslo normal 5/10p table, that`s what confused me, all i could do was buy in for max £10 then someone else came on table with £20 ???

maybe they had left the table wit 20 and when they sat back down thats what they have to put back down, reducing rules i think its called, just a possibilty

i was one table for 30 mins when this player sat with £20 an no they was not on same when i sat nor was master cash
Yeah as tintin says, they will have been playing earlier and built up more money. If you rejoin the table within so many minutes you have to rejoin with that same ammount.
Can I ask are heads up tables different for this rule ?
I've often watched some of the higher stakes head up cash tables and seen players win a load of money then leave and immediately rejoin with the maximum buyin again.

I think the time lasts longer than 30mins but I maybe wrong.

As I understand it on heads up tables if both players leave the table then one or both of them can sit back down immediately with a buy in amount of their choice (within the acceptable buyin amounts for that table).
However if one player remains seated on a heads up table, if the other player wanted to sit back down at the same table, reducing rules would apply. They would have to sit back down with the same amount they left with if it was more than the maximum buy in for that table
Hopefully I have this right but as I said it is just how I understand it.
