Turn decision with AA

What's your thoughts on villains range on the turn? Would you have bet out on the turn (satellite structure)? If he has the flush I'm drawing dead, ofc- flush draw was what I put him on, so slowed down and tried to control the pot, but ugliest river card for me. Am I playing this too passively or should I be shutting down there?

imo if he was donking flop with a FD then hes prob doing that looking to get it in...so once he flat calls I don't think he has hearts.

therefore the 2h is a safe card and I'm happy to be betting esp as we have less than pot back

    No way !!!

They always donk/call with draws dont they????

Not saying that once he calls he has to have a flush draw, but he will have alot of the time! I don't often get them donk/shoving on me! I wish !

With 2150 in pot at turn and 1788 behind I'm jamming the turn.  He may well have called with a flush draw, but could so easily be a TPGK 10J 10Q air hand.  Think I'm likely sticking it in as beyond being a heart the duece is a pretty nice card, also dont want the river to peel for free..  I think if he does have hearts he's most likely to set you in on flop with a 3 bet then go to turn due to stacks.

He def has a flush on the end tho.  Most Likely a A8/9 K8/9 hand with a heart

Deuces i am either all-in on the turn and committing to the hand or checking like you did,out of the two options i would favour a shove and make him pay if he is on a flush draw.
