**** ****.  My br is wayy more than yours (and I can afford to reload it) and I get palpitations playing 20nl for an hour.  Methink you are a gambler.  If so why not just embrace it?

I don't wanna play cash mate, I only started playing cash as the majority of my games on sky due to lack of sit&gos, on my old site "2nd largest in the world" there was so many sit&gos to chose from I was in heaven, I switched just because sky is so homely and trustworthy. and the only real constantly active table is the cash table, I have never really considered DYM tables, I think I might look into them.

I have given myself every excuse in the book, but this is my confession! If my bankroll is £150, maybe I'll sit on a 0.4/0.8 table or a 0.5/0.10 table, some times I run good and win, but sometimes I will lose my buy in, and when I do... I Tilt!   I do it all the time, and I'm sick of it, I need therapy, I will think to myself.. "I had 150 a minute ago, now I'm on 120, I want my 30quid back" so off I go to the 0.50/1.00 tables, buying in with £100 thinking (I'll double this here, or if I lose I'll put my £20 on a 6/1 on the virtual pooches when I spot a name I like), 7/10 times the result is ugly, and I do stuff like this ALL THE TIME. I am considering quitting poker for a good few weeks if not months to study some poker in my spare time and really learn how to become a consistant winner.  I play well with my cards, but I play horrible with my bankroll. I don't want to tilt anymore :(

If your winning the other 3 out of ten at 6/1 I,d stick to that

.50/£1 - you will have the occasional result, but try sticking at 5p/10p and get disciplined not to tilt and try and get some of it back that way as if you can,t deal with tilting you won,t win at any level - (good idea to take a brk tho - always helps)

Just redeposited my bankroll I'm playing DYM's super tight, 5 games played 5 pay outs and I like the game, time to start learning from mistakes I want to be a winning player, staying away from cash for a while now.

I sent you a pm too but, make sure you never have 5% of your BR on the table at any one time.  I cant stress this enough

dude, dont tilt, don't try and win ur money back by going higher in stakes. i get tilted all the time even in a £2 dym which is less than 1% of my br lol...i just hate losing..but i wudnt dream of going onto a huge table to try win back. jus stick to a limit where if u get a bad beat it dont affect u so much :).

The trouble with cash is if your bankroll only allows you to micro levels. The money hardly seems worth the effort so it is too easy to be tempted to a higher level than you can afford. I play S&G's, but not here because its all DYM's which are a misnomer because you double your stake not the buy-in. I think the best way to find discipline is in MTTs because to succeed you need patience and persistence and you can keep playing for a long time on one buy-in so risk less.

If it was that easy, people wouldnt tilt.  It is a fact for some people.  I myself did it this morning and I am a competent winning player
