you need to bet bigger, some of ur hands have been lost by them hitting flush as ur letting them get it too cheap. a hand like ace king shud be at least 20p pre.

personally i fink u knew he had a flush(as u bet more on turn but less on river :s)
    should of folded.

Raise to about 35p pre flop.

    Raise to 80p on flop.

    Turn bet £1.40

    River shove.

    Hi,

If I raise to 35p preflop, am I not going to simply win the blinds every time ?

    Regards,

    Max

Nope instead you will get more calls from awful limp calling stations and then the pot will be bigger for when you hit your Ace/King, that is however if you're on a table that allows you to flop top pair some don't allow you to so best to check first.

    Raise more pre flop.

Bet minimum 3/4 pot on flop.

Bet minimum 3/4 pot on turn.

If you do this, you can shove river.

As played its a pretty standard fold at 4nl.

Dont worry about the result, just play your end correct and over time you will be ok.

whenever you think your ahead at this level i think the best thing to do is pot bet flop, turn and river minimal, you might lose the odd cutomer but you will make this up by beating the fishies
