Definately should be a check on the turn, c/c river.

amybr has it right again. turn is a terrible card for you.

also limping QJ at this level isnt ideal, raise or fold pre. prefer the fold myself.

Notice alot of these hands are multi way bud.  This may be part of the problem.

But overall I think your just getting unlucky or running inti 1uppers.

Maybe I'm wrong but my thinking goes: there are a few limpers so I can afford to limp with QJ and see what happens as I will get paid. I find that raising with QJ would be too costly long term.

    Anyone thinks differently ?

    Snap fold pre flop.

Not bad philosiphy in principle but you have to be good enough post to release semi strong hands + take down the barren flops.

At these levels, with that many limpers I wouldnt be getting overly involved with to many flops that didnt literally smack me in the face or give me a draw to a nut straight...cheaply.  I dont mind limping back tbh, keeping the first part of this in mind.  But your not loving a J high flop or Q high flop really, just a BW or K high straight draw from flop played conservatively.

QJs on the button with a few limpers isnt too bad but when its off suit your drawing to straights, trips and two pair only. the odds just arent there. Expessially at NL4 when u hit your 2 pair people will chase down with nay sort of draw and QJx boards are usually pretty wet.

If your capable of folding TKDK (top pair decent kicker) to complete fish then maybe you can make it profitable. i like to avoid annoying tough desisions though and would fold it.

    Hi,

I can't argue with your logic so I will put it into practice starting now.

    Thanks a lot.
