Hi,

What do you make of this ?
This is at a 10-handed table after a couple of hours of play.

Was I too eager to go all in or just unlucky ?

Sit with a full buy in.

Also you say 10-handed table, there is only 5 players here lol.

I sat with a full buy in until some players ran with my money. That's also why we went down from a full table to only half of it: they wanted to spend my cash !

I dont mind it too much with your stack. It doesnt exactly give you that much room to play JJ. Dont mind the shove. I probaby do the same 5 handed.

Also, i echo the fact that you need to sit with 100BBs behind you or at least 80BBs. If your not confident enough to sit on the table with the maximum then your on the wrong table.

Does that mean I should rebuy everytime I lose a few pence to always have at least 4 pounds in front of me ?

from memory (so not gospel then!) he had been raising alot pre with strong aces and medium pocket pairs.
So you had a chance that you were either racing or ahead also.
just unlucky he had the top pair.
nice playing against you by the way

I always make sure I have at least £3.50 in front of me, once I get to that figure though I top up straight away.

Indeed he was a bit of a maniac by some aspects so I was probably right in that specific instance however that was a good opportunity to ask a more generic question.

    Nice playing with you too.
