well i really like TK and i think he is funny in most of what he says. The fact of the matter is he has offended at least one person from somewhere and should at least apologise and say that there was no harm intended.
The only thing i have been offended by on this site is when sky awarded a racist joke as the caption contest winner. To most people on this site they may just laugh and 'good one' but when you have been called every racist joke under the sun and had to have physical fights over it then jokes like these are just not funny and offensive.
What's your opinion on 'The Only Way is Essex' and what action have you made to the producers, network and Ofcom regarding how poorly that show has stereotyped and offended people who lived and grew up in Essex?

I also haven't mention Tikay, haven't defended or attacked anyone. I just asked a question which you have quite frankly treated flippantly.
Everyone is so ready to be offended these days, people almost want to be offended as if it provides them with the power of the wronged. And they will complain about it, well, as long as it's easy. If it's difficult to complain or to campaign for change we'll just give it a miss shall we?

Please cease attempting to put me in a position in this argument which I have not taken. Again, this has nothing to do with you starting this thread with a few insults towards Tikay. My issue is the general offhand dogma which you have begun this thread with. You chose to contribute to this forum with bile and disrespect without any real argument or intelligent debate. Your original post could have been about anyone and I would have still treated it the same way as long as the tone was such negative nonsense. However if you had started this thread in an intelligent and reasoned manner, coming from a true place of concern I would have viewed upon it and reacted quite differently.

when someone repeatedly makes the same insinuations about me and my family, which by the nature of them are negative, i insult them back... you and me are just never gonna see things the same way but if you wanna start trying to denegrate me (which i can say after this post you are) don't assume for a minute i take it lying down.,, if the man hadn't been repeatedly mentioning my place of origin i would not be posting this.. so don't start with me for feeling the desire to defend people i love, or do start over it.. but it's never something i will apologise for, and i'd feel pity for someone who would.
I seriously wonder how some people get by in life without a sense of humour. I'm sure it's not the first time you've heard someone make a few jokes about people from essex. It happens on lots of tv shows about allsorts of places and people.

Well said Tommy,I spent 18 yrs in the military and some of the things we said to each other would have one or two on this site In tears. Thankfully its only a minority but im afraid its the sad world in which we live in!
