I'm pretty sure there's more than four tables, think once the last table is full to a certain percentage a new one pops up each time.
It plays very similar to NL4 imo, it's a little tighter but not much tbh. I wouldn't say its very aggressive, people only usually 3bet with premium pocket pairs.
The only adjustment I made was raising smaller pre flop. In NL4 you can easily raise 28p plus when you're first into a pot and you still get callers. In NL8 you can adjust this back down to raising 3x or 4x most of the time.
Basically what Acid said. Think they pretty much play the same, I havent noticed any difference at all tbh.
It was me that said only 4 tables usually running, this is what I have found for the last few weekends but there have been a few more running during the evenings.
well not finished but yeah.. based on my aggro move up feckn fast BRM strategy from the other thread.... yeah im in a position to take a shot at 8nl once I hit £60 if i want to, currently £55.18, over a sample of like 1800hands. My hourly 4tabling 4nl is pretty enjoyable though so I can now undestand why some players would want to just grind out a 30BI roll for 10nl at 4nl instead of pushing themselves to move up quick with the minimum. I'll update properly when i hit 10K hands... as sample is lolbad and maybe im just running like the sun/
Just considering if its -ev to move up to 8nl and restrict myself to the limited fish pool in contrast to the wider one at 4nl.
What about the 10nl tables? how differently do they play to 4nl??
I've played about 5 sessions at 8nl and not rly enjoyed the limited player pool in comparison to 4nl where there's an adundance of tables which means i can just fire up 4tables immediately and go mad which is better for the hourly.
I'm thinking of just skipping 8nl... I presume the 10nl TV are ridic soft but is it worth playing them at 100bb instead of buying in deep? appreciate any comments.. many loves. TP
yeh erh sorry about that, was trying to post 2hands where i got dealt QQ, once v AA and once versus K3s and the dude called pre and hit a 633 flop. Was just amusing as both at 8nl and one after the other. Forum broke when I tried to post it, didn;'t actually check to see if the fred updated. my bad. sorries! would've edited post if i noticed it when all matrix on you.
meh, ran bad, played bad for 35-40mins at 10nl, down 2x 10nl bis. back to 4nl. meh.. this means another 10-15hours playing 4nl now.
from what i saw the 10nl games run the same as 4nl in terms of the fish just a little more agrressive post flop whenever anyone has a hand its literally all going in.......
played nl100 yest for only the second time and that was the same as nl4 as well. dantb and ajs, just your normal run of the m ill players!!!. on a serious note, you gonna get good and bad players at all levels just the % changes the higher you go!! Posted by pod1
lol yeah.. thats something i'll need to get used to as i'm familiar with playing with nit/tag infested tables with 5:1 to the fish!! Just starting out at 4nl with some aggro BRM to get used to playing w/o a hud & aclimatise to the software. I think I made boo boo when I played 10nl though.. i went straight to the biggest average pot tables when I should've just picked some tables with decent full stacks..... skool boy error
Nice one on the 100nl front, what sort of hourly have you been banging out at 50nl???
lol, i play nl30 normally but was getting stale and playing 3/4 tables. not thinking and just playing the numbers. wanted to spice it up a bit and make me think about what and why i was doing certain things. good experience, recommend it, if you can afford it mind. gl with your cash adventure phil

You finished NL4 already?

I believe certain browsers such as Chrome don't post HH properly.
