Starting tomorrow, Sky Poker have introduced a DAILY Jackpot.

What do you need to do to win it?

Easy.

Win the Main Event AND the Mini-Main Event on the same evening, & that's it - job done - you get a £5,000 Jackpot Bonus!

    Each JACKPOT lasts for ONE week - Monday to Sunday - and if it is not won, it increases by £100 per week.

    What if it is won on, say, a Tuesday?

    No problemo. On Wednesday, it will re-start at £5,000, & then increase by £100 per week every week it is not won.

    The odds on me winning this are more than a billion to one, mainly because i dont normally play the main event lol, but still a great prize and it is FREE!!

    Near miss?

    If you WIN the Main Event, & FINAL TABLE the Mini-Main, you will get £1,000.

    And if that goes on, say, a Friday? Again, no problem - it will be reset to £1,000 the next day. Simples.

     If a player finishes in 1st place in the mini main event and between 2nd and 6th in the main event then they are not eligible for any jackpot payment.

    That bit is a bit harsh IMHO but overall, a very good promotion.

    You're more likely to win it than me, I never play poker in the evening.

    Anyway, this sounds like a fantastic promotion. Good luck to all who chase it. The jackpot will be tough to win, I can see it growing very big before anybody takes it down. The added value should boost field sizes, and as the jackpot grows the fields will grow too.

    The only flaw I can foresee is a situation where collusion might be suspected, even when it doesn't exist. For example, lets say a site reg has already taken down the mini and gets HU in the ME against a fellow reg, someone he knows quite well. When he wins that too and scoops a huge jackpot it might be hard to convince some folks that there were no shady deals involved.

    There is no limit, no, it will go up £100 per week, every week, until won.

    Once won, it resets at £5,000.
