LOL.

I hear it spoken of regularly.

So could someone explain to me what it means, so as I can avoid doing same ;o))

    u call the raise pre flop and then on the flop when u to act 1st u bet into the initial raiser that is a donk bet m8

    yep, when you dont have betting lead then lead next street, eg flat pre from bb then bet into raiser on flop

    Theres nothing wrong with donkbetting if you have a good reason for doing so. A lot of good players still donkbet. Its just that its often misused by bad players which is where the name comes from.

    Donk betting is very good if you say flop a set/2 pair against an aggro player that likes a raise so he does.

    I donk bet all the time, surprisingly :p

    Mainly as I dont like check raising or giving free cards.
