Iv gone for some inspired/crazy/idiotic picks this week (you decide...)

BMW

After the success of Rory Mcilroy I have looked how many players there are from Northern Ireland in the field who may be inspired by his performance. The only 1 is Gareth Maybin. He has had some decent results including a top 10 this year. So I have gone for him £20 to finish in the top 20 @ 6/1 ... (He is 150/1 outright).

I think Dubuisson will finally make a good run this week after promising a lot but not delivering. £5 e/w @ 125/1

Yank Tour

Fredrik Jacobson has a very good short game, but strangely his putting was the part of his game that let him down at the US Open. With him hitting his irons/driver so well as long as his putter returns to form he will be a major contender this week. So I have had £10 e/w @ 45/1

Good luck mate. Nice type of bet with Maybin because he does well so often but doesnt win, so looks a good bet.

Here's mine. Kaymer all the way for me so used up both my bets for that tournament on him. Only got 9/1 because my money in one account. You can get 10/1 as we speak.

Anyone else having a bet then?

Good to see Darren Clarke pulled out of the event to go home and get sloshed with Rory!

It certainly seems as though he's been eating his weetabix of late.

The improvement in his driving has been phenominal.

I'm confident one of my boys will do it, Moore or Simpson. got both at 33/1.

If i had to choose between them, prob be Simpson.

Watney could be a danger too.

    wiiiiiiiii   £582.50 :-)

He was my big tip this week, as said above, as long as he carried on his long game from the US open he would never be far away.
