    I raise smaller pre, about 230 does same.

    Flop is standard and then just a good ol' bad beat yaaaawwwn.

    His call preflop is pretty bad.
    Effective stack size is 17BB's (and your open size is a bit big) which is ideal to shove over your open.
    Puts you in a tough spot with a lot of hands which you would call with if you could see his  cards (KQ, KJ, QJ, QT etc....), plus gets it in good when you have a smaller pair which you might fold on a lot of flops (77 - 99).

    When you have a stack size of 12 - 20BB's you need to be opening a little bit tighter, particularly if the players behind you have similar stacks, and are reasonably competent.
    It's a great stack size to reshove with, and we don't really want to be raise folding.

    Before you open, think about what you do if someone reraises, and how likely it is that this will happen.
    If it's going to  happen reasonably frequently, and you haven't got a hand you are happy to call with, then think about folding, and then looking for a spot to reshove with yourself.

    As played, it's fine..... you've raised from a shortish stack and hit top pair.... never fold  in this spot.

    These kind of comments really frustrate me.  Your questioning how I can call him a SuLAG on  the basis of this hand?  Well the answer is that I actually played this SG so formulated my opinion based on the whole game, rather than the snapshot of this one hand, but your right... I must be wrong because on this one particular hand (the only hand you've seen and the sum total of your opinion), he opted to flat pre.  So your totally right to assume that I'm wrong on this............

    Two players at this table were simply playing every hand, donk min betting every street, trying to push through bluffs every time. I didnt check thinking he'd bet, I checked knowing he'd bet with definately a worse hand than a J
