Does it matter what he calls with, personally I fold on the flop with just ace high.

Whats your plan when you float flop?

Turn is ok if he barrells a lot, it also helps if he doesnt think you raise fds on flop

The fact he cant have As narrows his range for calling turn. River is a blank Im not sure he folds anything other than missed draws, which we usually beat anyway, no way he folds a set. I prob check back river the only hand I see him folding we beat is Ks with a pair

his bet on the flop tells he has made a hand even if he had ace king and cbet you are still behind i cant believe you thought ace high was good to call river bet

I doubt calling pre to c/f everytime you miss is a great plan against an aggro player

yeah like grantorino said it's good to know whether you have history with this guy and if he thinks it's likely you'd raise a draw, and if not, would you raise the turn when you hit? Because if i flatted a flush draw on the flop, and hit it on the turn, i'd flat the turn aswell ... if villain has you down as someone who can make moves, and who can exploit his table image, then his call is fine. i don't mind it overall though, i like your follow through on the river, because it is possible villain will give up here alot of the time i think

looking back over the hand you put maximum pressure on his eights if he was weaker you would have won that hand i think

looks ok to me....it depends on the villain a lot though.

if its someone who could fold a low flush, made straight or set then its fine (especially as your have a generally tight image).  a lot of it depends on your read of the player
