Hello to everyone,
Back on sky after a break having been robbed blind by an 'american' company.  less said the better.

This is the first time i have posted but this hand really had me thinking for a long time afterwards.  Also another player on the table said i should be playing the lottery which quite annoyed me.  I should say it wasn't the other player in the hand.  As i cant seem to get the suites to show my hand was 6ofd 7ofs and the flop was all diamonds.  the pocket qq had the q of diamond.  hope that makes sense.

i decided to call as i felt i had a lot of outs.  when he shoves i put him on an over pair.  my only worry is if my flush draw is dead to an over diamond although i feel he shoves with any over pair diamond or not.   Also i do not have too much invested so do i need to get involved.
any opinions would be much appreciated in the hopes of improving my game.

Cheers

I think it would be fine if they were all 100BB deep. Fold pre though cos they are not. Flop is fine

ok seems the general concensus is not going anywhere on the flop.  im intersted in the fold pre flop thing as to be honest im calling quite a lot with hands like 67, 89 when im getting 5 to 1 on my money and i dont feel the player is too agro.  is this something i should look at.

There is nothing wrong with the flop call there , id snap him off all day with the amount of outs you had, even if i had known he had an over pair. wawawwwwwwweeeeeeeeeewa

I personally would be calling there pre, i play sort of 15/30, 20/40, 25/50p blinds and they're the sort of hands i like seeing flops with ****IN POSITION**** but if position isn't possible i call 50% of the time, dont want to look predictable. But i like the call pre, i'm not a nosebleed stakes player so we can afford to make these calls with marginal hands.
