And how many Englishmen turned out for Arsenal this weekend?
How times have changed, eh?
Fingersd crossed, in a few years time, the Arsenal Goalie will be Rich's son, Ryan, who is with the Arsenal Academy already. Doing very well too, I gather.
NFL geek, and a pic of my hero "Sniffer Clark" ( what a fantastic diving header in that very game, and Jonesy getting stretchered off.) Memories, my first trip to Wembley at 8 years old. This could be the best thread i've ever read, welcome Rich, hope you enjoy this fine community.
thank you Barnett is quite a tough spot really. Year after Bob Wilson, and pre Jennings as it turns out Is the far right player Peter Storey? That's a guess. Posted by SPT
Hi Rich and welcome aboard......the last time I heard Tikay gush about anything as much as he did in your introduction.....it had 3 engines, 12 carriages and steam coming out of at least 2 holes....could be wrong but is it Peter Simpson in photo?
Welcome Rich, hope to make it to the live events!! Which NFL team do you support? Are you a fan of NFL architecture or just footy? The new Cowboys stadium is out of this world!

Hello sir. That is a very unfortunate question for you to ask, if I may say so. I can bore for Britian on this one
I am a Dallas Cowboys fan, since the early 1980s. Been to three matches at the old Texas Stadium over the years and yes the new stadium looks sensational
I am a big NFL geek. BIG.
Did you know (well of course you don't) that three years ago an American NFL website called Football outsiders ran a competition where readers had to pick all 32 first round draft picks and to which teams in the correct order
I entered, and got 29 out of 32 correct. The website announced "and the winner is Richard Prew of London, England"
How to put 16,000 website members on tilt in one fell swoop!
That's incredibly impressive if I may say so. What went wrong with the other three? Career ending injury or jail sentence between the times you made your selection and the actual draft?

Ah the Americans Geography is getting better then!! It used to be, "From England in London" ... The old famous quote, "Ah your from England, what part of London is that?"
Manchester! Tra La Lah! Looking forward to seeing you all for a bit of Northern hospitality in the country's greatest city and the world's greatest football team (no not the blue tenth). Just have to qualify now!
Welcome Tighty, and I'm in awe of the amount of work you do everywhere, and still have time for a little poker! p.s. It's also nice to a music lover on board, I guess Tikay didn't have room for that bit! GL and enjoy your new challenge! Posted by SUPERNOVA

You have been allocated seat One in whichever SPT event you attend.
In Response to Re: Meet the Manager - the SPT Manager. : met sky_des last night in bolton tk, some tourney m8 Posted by budgirl
Great Tourney.
You would have met Sky Des (though he's not Sky Des on APAT days) & SPT Rich, aka Tighty, from yet another world I inhabit.
I should have been there, too, but I was working, & it's my golden rule - work has to take priority. Luckily, Des & Rich, who are tireless workhorses, understand.
Amazing to think that the folks who run APAT, & APAT Events, do it all on a voluntary basis. None of them get a penny-piece for giving up their weekends. They do get a nice Hotel for the weekend, though. Sometimes. Ask SPT Rich about his luxurious Hotel when APAT went to Vienna.....

You've started him off now, he'll never shut up.
We should have an "Ask Tighty" Table at the SPT!
PS - "Tighty"? Yes, his Forum Alias elsewhere is "TightEnd". It's some sort of football position, I'm led to understand.
