    I'd actually have rather lost a full buy in here, playing for 50p with QQ is neither here nor there.

    Danny, There's a common theme running through your posts. The fact is, you are never as far ahead pre-flop as you think you are. Suggest you go to an onine poker calculator (there are scores of free ones) and just throw in a few random hands. You'll probably be surprised what numbers come out.
    In the example given, the villain was about 35%. It's not really that shocking that you lost.

    Reason you should always sit with max is tables change, new people join and if you don't notice and then get Aces but only have £3 behind you will be pretty **** annoyed, well at least I would ;)
