My first post on the forum so be gentle. Basicly on this hand I feel like i made the right call as his shove screamed flush draw to me. I think the best he could of had was AJ but then you wouldn't shove like that.

My call Pre was purely to hit my 9. When it was raised from the small I saw this as a steal and with just the call in front and me in position I flated the £21 raise. The rest kind of played it self, I hit my 9 and with the shove thought he must be drawing so called. Then came all the spades! :o(

I made the right call didn't I?

I'd say yes, you can't fold a set there. It's unlikely your up against 2 spades there but even if you are, they won't always hit, and you're always left the the board pairing to give you a house (or quads).

No, dont be results orrientated, he had a draw, you had a set, even after he hit his flush you could of filled up on the river and then boom your loving life, but dont get yourself down, you were well ahead on the flop and had him chasing, ul gg

Yes you must fold here - you are either against JJ or the flush draw - hence either a 70% fav or a 5% dog.  That's -EV long term - FOLD!!
