MINI ROLLER LEAGUE????

HI ALL,I AM THNKING ABOUT TRYING TO SET UP A MINI ROLLER LEAGUE(HAVE EMAILED TIKAY THE INS AND OUTS).
THINKING MAYBE HAVING A £11 BUY IN ON THE MONDAY,AND A £22 BUY IN ON THE FRIDAY ( BOTH 10% OF MAIN ROLLER).TOP 10 FINISHERS(MAYBE 20,DEPENDING ON RUNNERS WE GET)IN EACH SCORE POINTS..STILL A BIT TO DO HERE BUT JUST WONDERING WHAT PEOPLE THINK...ANY FEEDBACK WOULD BE GOOD..TY

P.S. THEY WOULD BOTH START AT 7:30PM

    Anything that means more tournies between £8-20 gets my vote!

    As for the league, I don't play often enough to take part, but as it's a proper tourny with significant money up top, a system that rewards winning money will be much better than just nit-folding to a decent finish/min cash every week.

    So something like...

    1st - 50 Points.
    2nd - 30 
    3rd - 25
    4th - 20
    5th - 15
    6th - 10
    7th-20th - 5

    Or of course the most obvious and fair method of doing a league would be to do it on amount of money won.

    Yeah a mini-roller would appeal to a lot of players. Adding a league aspect to it would give it extra bite for a prize at the month end.

    Good idea IMO







    (in very small letters - I agree with DOHHHHHHH that most prizemoney should win it)  ;o)

    Theres only 1 decent tourny on a Sunday below 55 quid, and that's a BH.

    If same structure as the Main Roller games, I think this is a good idea.

    Two points though...
    1. Sats into both tournaments would be ideal (or maybe SnG's!!!!)
    2. The main rollers appear to be short on numbers each week so the League winner (s) will hopefully be awarded seats on top of any cash won. I take it this is the whole idea of running an actual League?

    YES MATE EXACTLY SAME STRUCTURE AS MAIN ROLLERS,AND HOPEFULLY GET DECENT PRIZES FOR THE TOP FINSHERS IN THE LEAGUE(INCLUDING MAIN ROLLER SEATS).SO UR BE PLAYING FOR A NICE CASH PRIZE IN BOTH TOURNEYS+FREE SEATS INTO MAIN ROLLER

    the problem i see is the rollers are limited to 60 runners - i think you will hit 60 very easily with £10 and £20 buyins

    hard to have a league if you can't register some weeks cause its full too soon

    if you open up the number of runners you could end up with a very long tournament - and you'd also need to modify the blinds to factor in the extra people if you wanted to maintain how it plays

    Theres room for a big tournament on a Sunday starting at 5 or 6pm.

    WHAT IF THEY LIMITED IT TO 70/80 RUNNERS,COZ TBF THEY DO SEEM TO GET SLIGHTY MORE RUNNERS EACH WEEK SO WOULD BE AN IDEA TO SLIGHTY RAISE THE LIMIT TO 70/80,WHICH COULD ALSO THEN ALLOW 1/2 SEATS THROUGH VIZ THE LEAGUE..AND THE LEAGUE SET UP I COULD DO IT ON AVERAGE SCORES BIT LIKE THE TSP CLASSIC LIT LEAGUE,ASLONG AS U PLAY A MIN OF 3 OR 4 WEEKS??

    My thoughts. I like it. Days of the week, agree with Dohhh, Sunday needs a mid stakes tournament and a.n.other.

    - £16.50, £15 + £1.50
    - 100 runner cap
    - 19:00 start

    Prize pool
    - 500
    - 300
    - 200
    - 150
    - 125
    - 85
    - 55
    - 40
    - 25
    - 20

    This is almost spot on.

    I'd pay just top 8 though, and make a min cash at least double the buy in.

    But that's just personal preference.

    Yeah I don't think the rollers are capped. The old doublestack was capped.

    I think capping the field would be bad. Run it as a value tournament on Sunday (55 and 220 leaves a lot of people clicking heir heels)
