Also for the lower buy-in Bounty Hunters. £2 and £5 Bounty Hunters charge 15%, while £3 Bounty Hunters charge 10%. #inconsistant

10% should be the maximum on any sort of tournament.

I like turbo/hyper HU STTs but I mainly play them on other sites where the rake is much cheaper.

    Hi guys,

This is just what we charge for playing on Sky Poker. As explained previously, we are business and this is what we charge for playing our games.

While there is a demand in these games, we will not be changing the rake I am afraid.

    Thanks,
    Jordan

Me and a mate used to sell doughnuts when we were at school, and would sell them for about 4 or 5 times what we bought them for, so pretty extortionate. But we'd be sold out by the end of first break every day, so the prices were never gonna go down. It's the same with the rake I'm afraid.

Well it looks like the decision not to reduce rake by sky has bit them in the bum. There has hardly any action at all on the dyms today. Its all very well making a commercial decision, but if your consumer is price sensitive they will buy another product and your revenue ends up being less than if you reduced the rake.

So in other words, if people STOP playing the games completely, and boycott the DYM 10% juiced up rake Sky will have no choice but to change the rake system?
You have to be an extremely good player to profit over time if your betting 10 and winning 9 each time

    +1 in support of fairness

+1 for the reduction of rake on
    low end DYMs.
But if people stop playing them won`t
Sky just do away with them altogether?.

Whats even more bizarre is that Turbo DYMs have the same rake, you only get around 15 minutes of play in these for the same price. Other sites reduce rake on turbo games :S
