tough decision facing an odd all in turn bet

haven't played many pots with villain but he/she seems fairly steady. having seen him flat the flop bet i put him on a weak Q or a small flush draw. when the turn pairs another 2 this is a good card for me. i bet strong again to get value from a Q or make him pay for a flush draw. when he shoves the turn i have no clue what he has! i tank and come to the conclusion hes trying to get paid from a big hand with 3 2, A 2 suited etc and fold! am i supposed to stack off with this hand or is it plainly just a nitty fold?? LOL
