Andrew down to 23k and it's A-A cracked again. I think he's going to start open folding them. They were cracked by JJ on a 4-J-T flop. Andrew bets out for 7k and the shortie moves in on him for 20k.
Peter is down to 75k. He's been bluffed by Busquet in a big pot T-9s on the board 9-8-6. Busquet bets 12k on the flop, Peter calls. Turn is a 5. OB bets 15k, Peter flats. River is another 5 and Olivier now bets 25k. Peter folds after much dwellage and is shown A-4: a missed flush draw that didn't get there.
Both chaps a little niggled by the last 15 minutes, but it's break time which gives them plenty of time to regroup.
Great interviews, keep them coming. When is Tikay going to interview you Claire, for the behind the scenes of Sky Poker you've been promising us since forever? ;-) Posted by Machka
LOL when I get my plastic surgery and look like either Kara or Tatjana
Players coming back from the dinner break now where the blinds will be 500/1000/a100. I have a feeling the next four hours are going to be key ones for the Sky Poker boys...
Andrew's table was broken moments after the dinner break, so once again I am off to trudge around the Amazon Room to find him. Let's hope he's got mountains of chips...
Yuck, it's getting desperate for Andrew now, down to about 14.5k. He peeled a flop just a moment ago after the player to his right (who is a Deep Stacks University mentor, name eludes me...), opened to 2.3k. Andrew smooth called and the flop came 8c-6c-4s and he let go of the hand after Deep Stacks lead out for 4k.
Less that 15BBs now for Andrew, so he's going to need to find a good hand or a good spot. Preferrably both.
The player to Andrew's right is Darryl Fish, who is anything but. $1.75m in tournament winnings online and live. At least our man has position on him...
Andrew is doing it again. 23k. Tiny steps, but this has been his whole tournament so far; grind, win chips, lose with a big hand, regrind, win more chips, lose with a big hand. No big hands please!!
Meanwhile, Lex Veldhuis has been eliminated by Olivier Busquet, making Peter's table somewhat easier. I mean, I might be tempting fate, but I don't think the replacement for Lex in Seat 4 can be that good. Surely. Please?
We're 20 minutes away from Level 10, which will see the blinds move up to 600/1200/a200. That'd still leave Andrew with a 20BB stack which, while not perfect, still gives him a little bit of wriggle room. Not too much mind.
Ad-Td vs K-Q on a A-Q-x-J turn. All of the money goes in, and the river is a horrible T. He got his money in good, and if the hand holds up he wins a 50k pot. As it turns out, our man is out very deep into Day 2.
A cracking effort by Andrew, I am sure you will agree.
Players are on a break and Peter's strolled in to the room. He doesn't look happy. Claire and I gulp. No need to worry though, he's just being a perfectionist.
Last hand of the level and he picks up J-J. He always seems to be picking up big hands right before breaks. Anyway...
He raises it up from EP and gets two callers, both tricky aggro players. Flop 4-6-Q. Ugh.
Peter checks, MP bets, Button raises, Peter sticks them in the bin. Could be worse though - he's on 95k and is the last man standing for Sky.
Great interview from Seth Palansky who is the Communication Director for the World Series of Poker. Tikay chats to him about this years series, the future plans and the move to Cannes for the WSOP

Alright, I call.
Scotty Nguyen is out of the Main Event.

COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME OOOOOOOOOOOOON YOOOOOOOOOOOOOU BLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUES!!

Gently gently...
Everything crossed!!

Peter - 90k
Andrew - 23k
Solid effort from both chaps, come what may...

His tight image gets respect, with just one caller. Flop comes K-8-4. Must be nice.
"I put out a little bet, a bit weak like..." 5k. Villain calls.
Turn is a T. Pete leads out for 17k and that makes the Brazilian run away.
K-8, eh? He's been watching Nitterbabe on the UK Cash Game.
Enjoy the rest of your holiday...
