Lost Value?

LAG villian. I would have folded after turn, I think, had the K not come. I'm pretty sure my play up til then was poor (was getting tired and bored) but I didn't think he had much (he'd shown a couple of junk hands after taking it down post-flop)  -  the straight draw kept me interested til then and it wasn't much to call. Overbet the river in the hope he'd think I was trying to nick it. Did I lose value? What should I have done?

Even though it's a minraise I snap fold pre, K10o is pretty ugly.

Flop is an easy snap fold, calling here is station play, people will say it's fine but not for me.

Turn when hit King I just put him in as can't see him bet folding 40% of his stack.

River just unlucky he ain't got a calling hand, this is why i get it in on turn.

Pre is marginal, its prob ok if players behind likely to flat,

fold flop, see the way when you hit your gutshot he shutdown? This is called having very little implied odds, you hit your card and win no more money. When you hit king it also sometimes shutsdown action and you are sometimes still beat

You entitle to shove this river. What you could have done however was bet 2.50 and he was all in anyway rather than shoving. That said

The style of play here is just wrong my friend. Fold pre as mentioned above and even flop.

    Thanks Guys

Like I said, I know this hand wasn't exactly my finest hour and 99/100 I'd fold pre. In my defence I did have some reads and his post flop raise put me in position. I guess I was only going to get called by hands that beat me as it was pretty obvious I rivered the straight. I was wondering whether a check/raise might have been a better ploy, but I suppose I'll never know.
