Turbocharged DYMs...

For anyone that hasn't seen these who likes DYMs, give them a go. They're currently under the 'all' tab in the sit and go lobby and disappear if you click the 'DYM' one. They're currently available at £0.30, £0.60 and £5.50 stakes.  They look very interesting to me...

I like these, but the variance is going to be insane, as if it's not high enough in normal dyms.

There is definitely a case for lower rake on these to give players a chance, 5.25? Like the turbocharged HU?

Also I notice they arent closing with three left, that needs to be changed?

I think reducing rake will be more profitable for sky, can't see them running v often so for example 10 games running an hour @ £5+25 will make sky more than 2/3 games running per hour @ £5+50

Recent post in comm.suggestions asking for reduced rake on normal dyms, they obviously have no chance of that ever happening as they are, and always will be VVVVV popular @ 10%

But I think the rake shud deffo be re-assessed on these, to make sure they survive.

    Thoughts?

    Nice post....

Sky you should definitely get this man on board. Offer him a "work from home" role.

Yea i agree in terms. JJ has some fantastic comments to say aswell as a great awareness of what players want. Hes one of the guys on the site who i think someone could learn a great deal from.

Yes, just a minor glitch I would have thought.

Re the rake, yes it's obviously a fair point and only time will tell if Sky need to reduce rake on these to make them really popular. Honestly, my own personal view is that these will be really popular anyway, although the (lack of) success of the turbo (3 min blind) DYMs would suggest that I will be wrong here.

Good move but as others have said reduce the rake and youll get more hu players dabbling.

I was getting fed up of playing dyms for 30 mins and sucking out to a worse hand. At least I now only have to wait ten minutes !

Yep, I take it back, I'm playing one now, I can't remember what the structure was before (3 mins, 1500 chips?), looks like they've been been tweaked to make them even faster.

    Edit;

The old fast DYMs are still there too, 3 minute levels, 2000 chips. New are called 'turbocharged', old are called 'turbo'.

Ive played 2 so far, definately forces action which I like. And its a great way of earning cash for points quickly. Play 2000 in a month and you get £930 c4p if you are priority, thats 46.5% rakeback, very very good deal.

Just playing a few of these and so far I think they're fantastic, I think they'll be really popular.

Can they please be put under the DYM tab though? When I logged on they were there and 3 kicked off straight after each other. Now they're back under speed and not filling again. The DYM tab is arguably where they belong anyway imho.
