WSOP ME - time to get behind Rupert Elder

edited July 2011 in Poker Chat
With our heroic Sky team back in the UK I reckon it's time for us to get behind Rupert Elder.

Rupert goes into Day 6 this evening with 933,000 chips, only 142 runners now remain from the 6865 entrants, the average stack is 1.45 million. Rupert plays on Sky Poker as ElRupert. In April he won EPT San Remo and a cool 930,000 euros. Just 3 weeks later he was back on Sky playing in the Sunday Roller where he finished as runner-up. Rupert was polite enough to chat with the rail during the tournament, a true gentleman.

Yesterday Rupert spent the entire day on the feature table which was streamed live, under the gaze of the cameras he claimed the scalp of Daniel Negreanu with his TT /> A7.

Twitter users can follow Rupert at @ruperte.

I will PM a link later if possible when the stream goes live.

The stream really is excellent, a revolution in poker coverage. Highly recommended.

Google is your friend, if you search for WSOP, go to the top result, you'll find it is very prominent on their front page. Just click the '2011 Live WSOP Streaming' button.

I found sometimes it let you watch without the download and sometimes it didn't.  I downloaded* it in the end and all is fine.

*no Chinese bots were harmed in the making of this download.

If you watch the live stream bear in mind there's a 30-minute delay. To get maximum enjoyment you should avoid spoilers on Twitter and other online updates. Play resumes at 8-00pm, so expect the live stream to be up and running at about 8-30pm.

Yes, the money bubble went on day 4, 693 players were paid. Everybody left at this stage will win at least $54,851. Eight of them will become millionaires, the winner will take home $8,711,956.
