I was going to say that he wins the ME and then is pretty darn rude to all the accomplished pros on HSP. Also that he stated all his winnings were going to the Lou Garrick foundation. This being the case, how does he play so bad, donking off 100's of k in stupid hands when that money should be gone
But then I looked deeper and he actually has put his money to very worthy and respectable causes. I do think he's an utter tool. But he has done a lot of positive things. So fair play to him, asd said, its not really fair to criticize him.
Just got super annoyed as caught something on HSP that I must have missed before. He's basically berating hellmuth over an insurance deal. Then acts super non chalant about it as its "only" 20k. Why are you bothering with insurance on 20k............ Just annoyed me.
But he's done more good in the world than I, so I better shut up.
Giving his winnings to charity is a Kop out, if he's a kn0b, he's a kn0b.
Think about it.
If I'm a multi millionnaire, giving a million to charity isn't gonna effect me is it. It's like I'm paying £1m for the right to be a d!k head without people being able to criticise me.

Anyway, I like Jamie Gold, even though he looks like Young Gun!
Don't know enough of him to say either way but I remember Tikay saying on Sky once that "of the last 10 main event winners, Jamie Gold is about the 11th best player." To be fair his demeanour seems to suggest when he is playing with the big boys he is doing it for fun and not for profit - he seems to be honest with himself in terms his ability so it would appear he is fairly humble in some respects
..........of his behaviour at the poker table. Also he doesnt seem that good at poker, but will nearly certainly make far more money than I ever will, which doesnt help. No idea what he's like off the table, he may well be a nice guy
From the TV coverage i've seen, including interviews, he seems like a decent bloke to me. If he accepts his invite to the SPT Grand Final it won't be good when the forumers start calling him a tool to his face......
