Best type of poker to watch?

I obviously do play as much as I can but as a result of work sometimes I don't have a lot of time to commit to due to the possibility of getting called away.

I therefore "dip in & out of Skypoker & watch as much as i can. 
MY question is (bearing in mind I'm fairly new and have only played DYM's and a few tourneys) is there a type of game I would benefit from watching than others?

Should I be watching the best players?
I realise there are differing skill sets fot cash/s n g's/mtt etc. Just wondering if I could be using my time more productively?

(Oi! Who said take up snooker??)
