no reads as such but person who opens 4x is definately a reg, i choose to flat with position and also see if shortie gets involved when he shoves and just a call from x i think i can either push them of or that i'm ahead. worst case scenerio flipping. I haven't really played this reg much and have no notes or history:

I think its ok. Think the flat from reg is as likely to be a big hand as to indicate weakness in this spot though

Why would they flat though? if you had AA/KK in this spot i dont think im flatting maybe AA occasionally but not often

I think the flat call is him basically telling you he has QQ JJ or maybe tt he would shove with kings and 90 % of the time would shove aces. Tournament play it's fine and if your happy racing in cash it's fine aswell.

Well your range isnt that strong here. I would be looking to isolate with hands like AQ, TT here, not KK+. Maybe thats not what most regs would do idk, but I cant see much reason to shove KK+ if Im villain.

Im not saying they would shove but i'd expect a re-raise most of the time especially KK as its vulnerable to an ace on flop, less likely they have Aces/kings anyway because i have AK i actually thought they may have 10s/JJ here but they may lay it down and we isolate the shortie. the call with QQ i think is marginal but was happy still when flipped over

I don't think the call with QQ is marginal at all, how often do you flat a single raise pre with AA/KK otb?

I wont do it often but occasionally i will and if i did i'd prob shove after shortie goes all in no?

TBF i dont think the opponent is looking what i have they have Queens so they call ;)

I would snap you off here with QQ if I was villain. QQ+,AK are often not even in your range, you can be trying to isolate with worse

YG I like the way you played the hand, just think villain could flat the shorty shove with KK+, imo its a better play than shoving the way action played out imo

lol snapping in villains position i wouldn't do this worse then AKsuited, KK & AA only other hands i would isolate but again depends on the player

fair point i think QQ is marginal here but vs me perhaps not. im a nit really
