Sunday's live show with James & Carlo (***OFFICIAL THREAD***)

Evening, all!

Carlo and I will be seated in our white chairs and raring to go at 9pm. Please join us on channel 865 for selected action from the £8,000 Sunday Roller and the £12,500 Primo.

We'd love to hear from you this evening if you attended yesterday's SPT event in Cardiff. Please let us know what you thought of the venue, the atmosphere, the side action, etc. Plus, we'll be running TWO competitions on tonight's show...


1) MOVIE MADNESS (enter via e-mail ONLY)

During the programme, I'll be reciting famous lines from classic films. If you can identify the movie (you're allowed to consult Google and IMDb), e-mail your answer to skyopen@bskyb.com and, assuming you're right, you'll be entered into tonight's draw to win free entry to next Saturday's Open. Correctly identify more than one movie, and you'll go into the draw more than once.


2) WHAT DOES CARLO KNOW? (enter via the forum ONLY)

I'll be "performing" lines from SIX movies. So, how many do you think Carlo will be able to identify? Have a guess. Post your answer in this forum thread. Everyone who predicts the correct number will go into tonight's draw to win free entry to a TSP Classic tournament. This competition is open NOW and closes at midnight.

    Cardiff was the first SPT event that Lea116311 and myself have attended. We had a brilliant time and enjoyed every minute. It was great to meet so many Sky players and presenters we know from the TV channel, forum and online tables. The atmosphere was superb and the side games great fun, we were very happy with the location. All the forum teams were out in force and there was much friendly banter. The cards didn't go our way in the Main Event but we enjoyed ourselves so much that I'm sure we'll be back again in the future.

    James left prior to choppage.

    Also if he had stayed he might have "stuck it in my eye" for not stacking my chips in equal piles of 20.

    Never had more than 20 chips before, let alone stacks of them lol

    Cardiff was brilliant. venue good, atmosphere great. Stuck on a table with James Hartigan for 10 hours.... no comment :)))

    Well done, Greg. Nice result!

    I can't imagine what's it like spending that long at a poker table in my company. A friend watching yesterday's live stream said I came across like "an English Ben Wilinofsky." He certainly didn't mean it as a compliment!!!
