New PC

Hi All,

Just after a little bit of advice regarding a new Computer for University
(Sounds a little strange coming for advice seen as I'm doing a Computing Degree at Uni,
however I am studying a software based degree and not hardware).

The degree is the main reason I am getting a new computer but I will also be playing poker
in my spare time so want a computer that I can fit a couple of tables on comfortably.

Im looking for a large screened computer with good graphics for my website creation and
graphic design. My budget is around £600 and would prefer a desktop.

Sorry if this has been posted in the wrong section.

Many Thanks in Advance
Jonathan

There are a few decent ones for about £500 HERE and they include a monitor.

But if I were to buy a new PC right now for around £600 quid I'd probably get THIS.

I'll leave this in GPC for a while to see if anyone else wants to chip in before doing my forum police duty and moving the discussion to Technical Queries.

On second thoughts it's not a Technical query about Sky Poker software or the website so I have a dilemma!   Aaaaargh.

Just had a look around and I can't find anything that competes with the one machka posted for that price.

That's a good spec pc that will handle everything you need to use it for.

Try http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/ You can get your pc built to your own spec - I recently used them to get a PC and the service was very good.
