Thursday Night Live with Rich and Carlo- The official show thread

Hi all,

I'm on your box tonight from 8 with Senor Citrone and we'll be bringing you the 5K Sky Roller and the 12K Sky Sports Bounty Hunter.

The show will be dualcast on Sky Sports 4 from 10pm and our studio guest tonight is poker journalist Barry Carter who will be giving us his thoughts on the WSOP and the recent Full Tilt poker hearing and it's repercussions.

Any questions for Barry on these issues- or any other for that matter?

Get 'em in on here.

We'll also play... "How Car-lo Can You Go?"

Three questions between 8 and 10 with 2 different prizes. All you have to do is guess what Carlo's thinking.

Question 1- What does Carlo consider to be the single most important thing you can do to become a better poker player?

Question 2 will be set during the show. Whoever gets it right will win and in the event of more than winner we'll do a draw on air.

Question 1 wins a Take On Tikay entry and Question 2 wins a £22 Saturday Open entry.

    Hi Rich,

    Good luck with tonight's show.

    Please note that GREGHOGG earned his seat in tonight's Sky Roller by finishing second in the Monday Night Omaha Club (a league I ran during July).

    I'm sure you'll find the opportunity to show a couple of his hands...so I look forward to seeing him lay down the second nuts to a complete bluff ;)

    Carlo would consider there is no substitute for experience, and therefore recommend playing whilst at the same time studying the technique of opponents who consistently win hands
    However if he saw the way I play he'd probably recommend giving up as the best way to improve my game!

    The world premiere of our footage of the Sky Poker Tour in Cardiff is tonight on the live show!

    Look out at the 9pm and 10pm tourney breaks for Parts 1 and 2.

    The rest of the series will run in the live shows over the weekend!

                                                                                                                                              Great weekend in cardiff  met some real jokers and some loonytunes (sickswans) but good time was had by. all roll on dtd if i can get out of big family do im working on it now .
