Twice iv made it to the cash bubble in an MTT this week. Im pretty sure i played the hands correctly for the cards i had, and recieved a bad beat. My issue isn't with me being unlucky annoying as it is but should i be playing more cautious around the bubble as of the 5 MTT i have played this week these are the deepest iv have got. (they were both bounty hunters but that shouldn't make a difference to the call at this stage should it?)

you shouldn't be entering a MTT with the aim of making the money - this is usually only around a double up on your entry fee - you're far more likely to achieve this in a DYM.

you should be delighted being called by these hands even on the bubble - you just got unlucky twice

doubling up here can give you a much better chance of actually winning rather than just small cashing
lots of players tighten up significantly approaching the bubble which is why you can raise alot wider than normal - which is maybe what the callers suspected you were doing

i'm not saying you should throw your tournament away with junk hands but dont be afraid to shove with big ones and be happy when u get called by a dominated hand

your raise sizes are not good. In first hand about 700 is fine. If I was going to make it as big as you do I would just shove. 2nd hand shove pre.

Getting it in with these hands is fine on the bubble. Imo play more agressively on btn and steal lots from players looking to mincash

First hand raise less 700-800, on flop do not shove, with smaller raise pre you can make smaller cbet which will get through a lot but if he's calling off with a high no draw do shove lolz.

Second hand such a juicy spot to shove over his raise but you waste it, luckily the same result comes but a shove is better.
