I am quite happy with my tournament play but i got called a donk and told that i should of known i was behind after i did this?? My theory is i take the chips already in with this hand and worst case im racing against near enough any hand
(This was by a reg i respected as a player aswell)
This is also deep in the tsp about ten from the bubble

i think its fine, his opening raise is large so that any 3bet commits us so shoving is best imo

Looks great to me, really glad to see AK played how it's meant to be played with AGGRRROOO.

Yeah you can't really 3-bet because of the size of the opening raise so shoving here is fine imo.

Did anyone rush back to the TSP lobby to see which well known player busted just outside the money? ;)

Think it's pretty obvious now anyway.

And I'm not surprised that he questioned the play, I honestly don't think he has a clue what he's doing. He also has a terrible attitude, as witnessed by a few DTD regs on Monday night.

His missus is pretty gud at poker tho ;)

it wasnt me, but it sounds like it was someone who finished 3 places above me...

    good detective work Dohhhhhhhh.

Oh and batty. I would play this AK exactly the same way vs that villain, so i'd be called a donk also, dont worry about it!

shove or call is fine, definately not a fold - i dont like 3 bet due to stack sizes, may as well shove as 3 bet

if you call, you have to be prepared to chuck it if u miss, calling then shoving with no A or K on flop is terrible

calling can be less variance and can also net you more chips against a loose raiser who could be raising Ax and will call bets with A on flop but wont call shove
