Help me stop doing this

Hi I don't post in the clinic too often, but this is really bothering my game.

4th hand after moving tables and was playin pretty steady up until this point. Its not the 1st time i've done it, but how can I make it be the last? I had no reads on any of the players as I hadn't been at the table long enough, so its a little dissapointing to make an impulse call at this stage.

There's loads of hands that could be beating me and yet I make a complete backside of it by snap calling with a hand I should probably have folded pre-flop tbh.

Getting involved up until the flop I can deal with I suppose, but I need to learn how to lay it down? Any one use any techniques to overcome this impulse calling? or should I just always lay it down to the pre-flop raise?

Post flop its not all that easy to get away from.

You should be either raising or folding with this type of hand in the CO. I think it becomes easier then as Villain will 3 bet and its an easy fold. If he just flats you can play the hand out differently.

As played a min raise out the blinds PF always starts alarm bells ringing but once you have called you cant really get away from the hand i feel

Iso raise PF..... about 13/1400 should do the job.
Never overlimping with this hand (think if you've got a v.small pair, or suited connectors you could just about justify it).

As played..... does anyone ever C-bet pot without having it?
It's too easy to be results orientated and say it's a  fold, but min raise pre, then potting the flop looks scary strong.

I would struggle  to fold the flop in play, but it's probably the right play against most players.

yea defo raise pre. if he flats your in trouble. If he 3bets we fold.

His min raise is bad and makes it very hard to get away from.

Yes - Drink quicker, it eliminates the possibility of being capable of playing.

Snap raise pre to say 1300, why would you want to limp ?

Also when he presumably reraises then you snap fold.

Fold pre when he raises from the BB

    or

raise pre and fold to his 3 bet
