Chat Abuse On Sky Poker!

I have just reported this guy: XXXXXXXXXX for the fourth time for calling me and others names in the chat while playing poker!

You know what support said? They cant do anything because it was on a free table!

Rubbish excuse sky!!

You have got to deal with XXXXXXX like XXXXXXXXX asap!

If you think that is harsh and not allowed in the forum, then close my account. At least im not saying I can smell his crotch, and I will take him for a walk in the woods like he said to me 2 weeks ago when I first reported him and you did nothing!

Deal with him or I will advertise the "FACT" you let people do this and get away with it here on sky poker!

Melanie.

I am not joking either

They will do something. You obviously got a muppet. Try again and they will deal with it.

ps. Moderate your post a bit - I know you're angry but it's for the best.

    Hi Melanie,

I have had to edit your post, name and shame is not permitted on this site

I will look into this for you.

Abuse of any kind is taken very seriously at Sky and I will investigate this on your behalf

    Regards

I hope you have more clout than the chat support team Jock. I see you have control here in the forum, but that wont stop me advertising what I said if nothing is done!

"that guy" i mentioned is full of filth, and shouldnt be allowed on the site at all, let alone having his chat blocked!

Please deal with it as you said.. do everyone a big favour and take control of your chat boxes and get rid of all abusers for good.

i suffered some horrific abuse earlier on, the guy was saying some stuff about my mother who is no longer with us, i told the guy this fact expecting a quick apology but what i got was the most vile comments imaginable. some people are just sick!

i reported this to customer care and was assured the appropriate action would be taken.

there is no place for abuse on the tables, a bit of banter is fine but there is a line that shouldn't be crossed! people like this should not just be banned from chatting on the site but should be banned from even playing imo.

P.S.. If abuse is taken so seriously, then why did I have to report the same guy 4 times and still nothing gets done about it?

If all it takes is a complaint in the forum, then why have support at all?

They are supposed to help us, but "4 times about the same person" IS BEYOND A JOKE!

They told me word for word exactly the same thing when I reported this guy the first 3 times. The fourth, support said because its on a free table nothing can be done.. they said they tried but cannot do anything!

Good luck with anything coming from that report!!

This site barely works with  firefox, you need to use IE to send messages.

i was on the table at the time waller what the guy was saying was disgusting mate, i think i may have influenced his abuse by showing him them bluffs so if thats the case i do apologise but what he said can not be tollerated or forgotten no matter how many times he tried to suck up after, hope the problem gets sorted mate !

Showing your bluffs is fun Del, so don't blame yourself because he can't handle being beaten. Abusive players have noone to blame but themselves!

Keep showing your bluffs and be proud of them lol

As I understand it, Sky's position is that it is a family brand, and so "adult" language is not permitted. I, personally, feel much of this is ridiculous. Adults play poker, and we're used to certain language. Abuse is a different teapot of orang-utans - it is always unacceptable. I see no difference between the Viva Las Vegas final, or the free tables with that regard.

People have twice expressed a wish that I would die soon on Sky, in the chat - both reported, and I've not run into them since.

    Stick to your guns, Mel.

I can assure you this will be dealt with appropriately. I'm sure Jock will forward the details to us, meantime contacting customer care is the right thing to do.

    Thanks
