Played a 15k Deepstack in Brighton yesterday.

Blinds are now 100-200, & I am playing 19,000. It's my BB, & Matey Boy on the Button makes it 700 - a "pot" bet".

I asked to see his stack - looked like about 5k. OK.

I had Kc Qc, & it's 500 to me to Call. Hmm, I'll take a look, I can only do 5k max in this coup if things get heavy.

Flop comes K-Q-2. You know the rest, & I bust Matey Boy. (He had A-A, obviously)

Later, I find K-K at  300-600, & make it 2,000 to go, & get looked up. The flop came Q-8-2 Rainbow, & the chips start flying around. I know I've got him bang to rights.

Guess

a) What the Turn card was.

b) Who was the non-believer.

Well, it was either a K and you "bust" his KQ (which I don't think is possible) or a Q and his KQ "held up" against your over-playing of the always vulnerable KK. I plump for the latter  - because an old man once told me (sorry, told me MANY times) that KQ is the Nutz.
