Got sucked out on in my exit hand to finish 12th in the Main. A guy opened up to 8,000 and I re-raised to 26,000 with A,K and he flat calls. I have 36,000 behind and he has 47,000. Flop comes 7,2,J and I jam the lot in. he calls and shows J,10 which holds. I would have jammed pre but thought 26,000 did the same job (Nearly half my stack pre) was I a little unlucky or did I play it badly?

Hi Shaun
I think the problem is the size of your raise to 26k, as it really only leaves you one option to shove any flop due to how much you have already invested in the hand. IMO shove pre would be your best move with these stack sizes and blinds. If you don't want to get them in with just an Ace high, then a min raise to 16k would be easier to fold if you miss, but imo not a profitable move and shove pre is far better.
Really your raise tells him your never folding and he just flatted, which isn't a very good play from him, but he got lucky and hit and thats the danger.
