Unfortunately the turnout was lower than I expected as one or 2 TPT members who were going to play had to withdraw but the main reason for the low numbers was a very poor response from some invited guests. As you know 2 TPT members each game have a turn to invite guests of their choice and while some did play the response has been better in the past. Last month we had 3 (I think) from a team I invited and this month I invited another 5 from the same team. To say the response was poor was an understatement. None of them played and also none of them bothered to reply to say sorry can't play. This meant that with half an hour to go I had to find Trevor on the tables to help me find guests. I was running about the tables and sending P.M.'s with the PW which, when I'm trying to qualify for SPT is far from ideal. I need to correct this for the next game so for my part I will contact Sky Dave about our next game 2 weeks in advance so the game should be in the lobby a week before it starts hopefully. What I would then ask you to do is register for the game as soon as possible to try and avoid the last minute panic. We could always invite more guests like the Hitsqad do but the aim of this match was to be a TPT game primarily and I would prefer to keep it that way. If we invite 20 or 30 guests then it just becomes another MTT. Any thoughtss on the matter will be appreciated.

as for the TPT tourney, 9pm on a week night is a bit late for me, ok somedays but I had an early start today. can't help but think that an earlier start or playing it on the weekend would attract more runners

It's done on a rota basis Jonny. I am working through the team list and 2 players every month can invite 3 players each. Maybe i should be thinking of increasing it.

Hi FD first of all well done all was great fun I totally understand how hard it is for you to get the numbers up and maybe if it is other teams. Who is ever inviting can also leave a posting on their team page as not everyone may look at their emails often enough.
You are doing a great job with this so I am sure the rest of TPT will get behind you for the next one

JJ that might just be the best idea you have ever had. Plus it saves me keeping track of whos turn it is to invite guests etc. Not going to do a vote thing for this but forum feedback on this subject would be great
I enjoy the TPT game but I am up at 7am so 9pm start and slow structures I cant do An earlier start would be good but if not I will try and play when I can.

Very nice cash jeffter, just as i thought i was catching u in the mtt league drat As on the team game, jj idea seem brill also making it easier for players to join the team would better, ie if someone say to you at the table there interested cant we just pm trev or dale there names? as I think alot of players find it hard work going thru community pages. catch you back on the felt
