The only thing I would have done differently was maybe make the preflop raise a little bigger but once that flop comes down its all going in whatever. Some times with a pocket pair I MAY flat in order to set mine cheaply but the outcome would have been no different. You were just unlucky.
BTW if anyone is wondering what I'm doing on here when i said I was taking a break I thought I had self excluded for 2 days but somehow i haven't, but I'm determined not to play till Thursday at the earliest!

I'm with dagg on this one - I don't like the min raise pre-flop, this needs to be bigger. You were unlucky to come up against a set of aces, so the rest of the hand was pretty standard and unfortunately, its always going all-in.
The biggest problem with min raising here is, you are allowing any 2 cards a chance to call, say oppo had 10,J for instance and flop comes J high. unless we've hit our set, our pocket sevens are dead in the water.
Unlucky on this occasion though after hitting the set.
tonight i'm grindin my teeth in rapidly worsening mood... first i get disconnected in the mini and main event at the same time, needless to say on one table i'd got a da mn good hand... now every time i press lobby in the mini it comes up with skys home page.... SOMEBODY SORT IT OUT
no thanks to sky and locked lobby to the mini i managed to scrape 38th £7.08....... just to clarify one thing though my disconnect problem was not there fault, when it rains in ireland the fuse always blows....
Hi all realy happy to say I was able today to play problem free ) I will give it another week playing on here before I jump for joy too much and say the connection problems are fixed but first night in months its been fine.
I did uninstall the download and then installed it again as I know there have been a lot of updates between Sky and flash I did the same with Flash as well. I have no idea about technical stuff but maybe we see if we can get 2 days in a row and get back to just being able to blame myself and the poker gods for bad play/beats lol
