im also having a crack at the dym challenge going to have a break from the mtts for a while and do my own brm / dym challenge played 2 games at the 60p level and have seen some absolutely outragous play if i cant win at that level then something is seriously wrong with my play.

I am of the opinion now, that taking a break, even if it is just one day from the tables refreshes you both mentaly and phisically ( phisically only if you do a bit excercise ) I also find it helps your mind to wind down a bit. During this short break I tend to question a lot of the bad decisions ( TILTS ) and why we all at times make them, always with the knowledge that at the time we are making these decisions we know totally that they are wrong. WHY ?
This forum is great to ask questions to hopefully help you to move onward and upward.
WD j3ono nice cashes.Hi three i can understand where you're coming from.For me i just play through it as i believe the cards don't change and nor does the dealer lol.Still that's just my opinion and as i've been on a bad run now for 3 months i could be wrong.If your attitude doesn't change and you look at the game game and understand that luck has a bigger part in the game,in my opinion,than most people think.What i mean by that as i'm talking about tourneys,is you have to win races.There are times when your AK gets beat by a pp and that's just poker.If as i'm thinking about myself that i'm still playing the best i can, then that's the way the cookie crumbles.At the end of the day it's just a game to me,if it's affecting the way i think about the game then i would stop.Bit long winded, all i'm saying is each to their own,whatever works for you.Gl at the tables guys.
JJ your right in what you say the cards and the dealer stay the same and pocket aces will still get cracked by 73 offsuit now and again. What a break can do is refresh you and you may come back more focused and playing at your best. That's certainly what I felt after my short break. If you have the mentality to be able to play through this bad run and handle the losses then thats probably the best thing to do. For me I was finding it harder to handle so a break was my solution. I hope all of you on a downswing manage to turn things around and just remember it happens even to the very best players on here.
