    Hi All

Just a quick explanation from me as to why I couldn't attend SPT today.

My brother passed away last sunday and although I've been playing every night on here (to take my mind off things), yesterday evening I realised that I was in no state to be sat in a casino with 120+ players and also I would have been too far away from my family especially my parents who obviously are having a tough time.

Many thanks to the people who I have told and have expressed their condolences to me. I do appreciate it

Although the 1st few days poker helped to divert my thoughts and focus my mind on something other than my brother, over the last few days I haven't been able to focus and have decided to take a bit of time away from poker.

Speak to you all soon and thanks again

    Simon

Just to let you know I probably won't be around as much for the next week or 2. I'm in the process of having my kitchen and bathroom done so need to be up early every day. Late nights won't be good. I may play DTD not sure yet.

    Hi everyone

It was my first SPT and On my way there I was a little nervous as I didn't know anyone.
I needn't have worried. Right from the start I was made to feel incredibly welcome by all the TPT guys.

Mr and Mrs Trev let me tag along with them for a meal when I first arrived and then we registered for the side event.
Congrats to Trev on cashing in that.

It was great to meet Jeffter, JJJlach, Pokey2011, Rawhand and the wonderful FlashJonny. All absolutely top guys and for them to rail me all the way through meant a huge amount to me.

A big thanks too, to the guys who railed in the updates. I was constantly checking them and it was really motivating for me knowing I had support on the updates as well.
Well done to all the TPT guys who cashed over the weekend.
Apologies to Rawhand who played really well. That was the one hand I didn't feel good about winning.
Hopefully see you all there again at the next one.

WD to JAC35 great win in the SPT.Don't worry you can relive your interviews with rich orthord on 861 for years to come lol.

Great to meet all you guys at the spt.Met some real nice people. As it was my first spt and live game I was really nervous. If any of the team want to go but have never played before people are real nice and will help you out.I needed it as you know I have a mental block when it comes to maths.Definetly going again and would recommend it.

Very sorry to hear of your loss BB, thinking of you and your family.

Very well played TPT at SPT Brum, all who cashed,
especially to Jac35 for taking it down.

Looking forward to the screening of the "interviews" on 861.
I'm presuming they will all be in WIDEscreen format, ;)

GL at the tables TPT, run good, see you all soon, I'll be back.
