I enjoyed the team game tonight - wish it could be a weekly or fortnightly game as it was so much fun with great banter and chat. Like you Geldy my Aces were cracked 3 times tonight - definatley not my favourite hand!
I managed to go from one extreme to the other tonight - played the £55 BH game at 9pm from a satellite - went straight out on first hand when I got my tables confused lol and called an all in with complete air!!
On a better note I managed to bink the UKPC semi game again which I'd managed to do last night too so cashed for £240.

Just had a disaster in the Megastack. Was sitting pretty in top5 with 100K then lose an allin when my oppo hits a Q on river for his 1 pair to beat my PP. I then play one of the worse hands ever when I call an UTG raiser with my K 10 suited when I'm down to about 30K. I hit middle pair on an A K J flop so have to call his smallish bet. On the turn he then puts me allin and I have to fold. I know it was a fold pre so won't bother asking for advice I'm just beating myself up for playing like an idiot and eventually going out on the bubble. Good old JJ is trying his best to cheer me up lol but I'm so mad with myself right now.

but:
as a good player you probably lose aipf to more bad beats than coolers
and you don't remember the times you lose when they have a small stack
so it's only natural you should remember the bad beats vs bigger stacks most
and it works both ways
I've just qualified for tonight's main for £3. hu i was the bigger stack and won the final hand A6>AQ
sh*t* happens both ways - but he'll probably remember it longer than i will

Myself and Martin were talking last night and the following idea developed. A cash session to run on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. I suggest an 8pm start so that players can drop in or out at their own convenience. This will be at 2/4 so you can buy in for as little as £1-20. It would primarily be Holdem but there's no reason we couldn't do Omaha cash. Obviously with it not being possible to reserve cash tables it's very much on the fly as to whether it will work. It will be a case of "i'm sitting at xxxxx table now find me".
Thoughts?

yeah i personally hope that there is nothing in it, but i was thinking i didnt want to tackle to deepstack as i was awre that i would probably lose but with aa that was as good time as ever, it is probably a blessing in disguse for me as i have purchased a few poker books so i will take an extended break to study the game and come back refreshed with new ideas.
also going to be playing live a lot more in future and see how i go.
Im convinced now that something is dodgy about this site, just been on a sky bh direct there, in around 9 hands there was 8 suck outs, and im talking a7 v a5, 99 v 82, a7 v a8, jj v a4...is this strange to anyone else or just concidence ? it was like surreal every hand was a bad beat? and im not saying this bitterly although i lost to one i gave two out myself...thoughts?
